Our commitment
We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. This isn't a checkbox: a booking site you can't use with a keyboard or a screen reader is a site turning customers away.
What's in place
- Semantic structure — properly ordered headings, ARIA landmarks, real lists and tables rather than simulated layouts.
- Keyboard navigation — every link, button and field is reachable by Tab, in a logical order, with a visible focus indicator.
- Skip link — a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page, revealed on the first Tab press.
- Contrast — body text and interface elements meet at least 4.5:1 against the dark background.
- Alternative text — every meaningful image carries a description; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Labelled forms — each field has an associated label, required fields are announced, and errors are described in text, not by colour alone.
- Declared language — the
langattribute is correct on every page and the language switcher points to the equivalent page. - Reducible motion — reveal and scroll animations are disabled when your system requests
prefers-reduced-motion. - Zoom — the layout stays readable at 200% magnification without horizontal scrolling.
- Without JavaScript — all content, rates included, remains readable and the form remains submittable.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than claim perfect conformance:
- Some generated images contain baked-in text that cannot be selected; the essential information is always repeated as text alongside.
- Multi-column rate tables scroll horizontally on small screens; their content remains accessible to screen readers row by row.
- No independent external audit has been carried out yet. Testing is internal, by keyboard and screen reader.
Vehicle accessibility
Accessibility doesn't stop at the website. For the service itself:
- Our vans and minibuses have a step and easier access than a sedan.
- Folding wheelchairs travel at no extra charge — mention it at booking so we allow for the boot space.
- The driver helps with getting settled and with luggage; they are not trained in patient transfer and cannot lift a passenger.
- We do not currently operate a ramp-equipped vehicle for non-folding chairs. Tell us anyway: we work with equipped partners and can arrange it.
- Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome in all our vehicles, at no charge.
Reporting a problem
